Accredited Teachers
myChinese360 is one of the only programs offering U.S. certified teachers based in China. Every member of our faculty undergoes the same rigorous training and certification process as American classroom teachers.
The teacher certification process is facilitated by Region 4 Education Service Center (ESC) in Houston, Texas. As part of this process, all myChinese360 teachers complete a series of challenging college level courses delivered online by Region 4 ESC. These courses are taught by experienced classroom teachers, covering topics such as American education theory, lesson planning, communicating with parents, working with special needs children, teaching languages other than English, etc.
Teachers must also complete thirty hours of classroom observation at an approved American expatriate school in China. During their first year, our teachers progress through a virtual internship process, working with experienced Region 4 ESC mentors who provide classroom observation and guidance.
